Atul has over 41 years' experience in Specialty Chemicals, Home & Personal Care, and Foods & Beverages categories. Atul has been an independent consultant for last 4 years, retained for technology, strategy, and leadership mentoring at Unilever, Godrej Consumers, Alvarez & Marsal, Solar Industries and Christian Hansen. Prior to that, Atul spent 15+ years mostly leading R&D (at Board & Management Committee) at Hindustan Unilever, Cadbury India Plc, Mondelez International and Pidilite Industries Ltd.
Atul has led large Regional & Global R&D organizations, managed Global Supply Chains, run Large Factory Operations, incubated a Construction Specialty Chemicals business (revenues Inr 200 cr+), innovated iconic brands like Cadbury Silk and Bourneville chocolates, Bournvita Biscuits and is an inventor with 15 patents.
