Individual cross mentoring
Best suited for individual CXOs or aspiring CXOs - this is ‘hands-on’ mentoring with a lead mentor, supported by other mentors, where necessary, who help with cross functional perspective.
The mentoring is based on an agenda decided mutually, based on individual insights and the business context, covering some current business challenges as well as key skills or perspectives that need focus.
Succession Development
We can help with the focussed development of key succession candidates through ‘cross mentoring-led’ holistic development, rooted in the business context.
Based on insights about the individual successors, we will agree on a mentoring plan with the successor and key stakeholders, with a mix of cross mentoring sessions and masterclasses.
Leadership Development journeys
A cross mentoring led development is also ideally suited for building customised leadership development journeys for a cohort of CXO-1s. These action focused development journeys, with personalised plan for each individual, by a cross-mentoring led action learning phase.
Our approach will focus on holistic development, providing strategic cross functional perspective through real life work actions, supported by masterclasses for key skills.
Team Mentoring
‘Cross-mentoring’ a complete business leadership team, in partnership with the CXO, is a great way to accelerate transformation. We will work with the CXO and support the CXO in building right team capabilities for transformation - through specific cross-mentoring led development.
This will also help with team alignment, and in getting everyone in the team with the right capabilities for transformation or scaling up.
Board mentoring
Given the deep expertise some of our mentors have on corporate governance and being on numerous Boards for a significant period of time, they are happy to mentor first time Board members or aspiring Board members. Young family members stepping into Boards would also benefit from this mentoring.
